Tell us your story. What life experiences have impacted your journey? What motivates you? What is your “why"?

Some of the main experiences that have impacted my journey come from playing travel ball. In travel ball I competed against countless D1 commits which always push me to be better because I believe the better that your competition is the better you’ll be. My motivation comes from God. He keeps me motivated because he reminds me that I need to use the abilities that He has given me to glorify Him in everything I do.

What role does your faith play in your life and in your sports career?

My faith plays a role in my sports career by allowing me to play freely and without regrets because I know my identity is in something bigger than sports.

Do you have a favorite Bible verse? If so, which one and why?

1 Corinthians 10:31 is my favorite Bible verse because it reminds me to always play and do everything for someone bigger than myself and do everything for God’s glory and not mine.

What accomplishment are you most proud of personally and athletically (name one of each)?

My biggest personal achievement is rededicating myself to the Lord and choosing to follow Him. My athletic achievement that I am most proud of is getting awarded as the varsity “Rookie of the Year” my seventh grade year as the starting catcher.

What do you feel sets you apart from your competition and what skills do you currently possess that are your biggest assets?

I feel like my versatility to play almost anywhere in the field and my coachability is what sets me apart from my competition. My biggest assets currently are my hitting abilities and my arm strength.

I leave for school at 7:00 and it goes from 8:00-3:10. After school I either have games or practice. Once I get home I do additional work, like High Level Throwing or batting. After that I do homework, study, shower, then sleep.

What are your plans for the future and what is your number one objective for the next year / season?

My plans for the future are to go and play collegiate softball. My number one goal for this season is to continue to better myself and help better my team in all aspects of the game.

What is the biggest challenge you see in achieving your upcoming goal or where could you use help?

The biggest challenge I see in achieving my goal will be competing with other very talented athletes for a spot on a college team. I believe there is always room for improvement/help.

What words of advice do you have for younger athletes that are up and coming?

My biggest advice for younger athletes is to play freely and always go 100%. Always trust God because He will take you where you are meant to be .

Who was your favorite player growing up or who's style of play do you most admire?

That’s very hard to pick just one person but if I had to it would be Reese Atwood from Texas.

What one question would you have for your favorite athlete if they were sitting here now?

My question to Reese Atwood would be what type of experiences did she go through to get where she is today.

Is there anything else you would like to share with the community?

If I could share one thing to anyone reading this it would be that Jesus is the center of my life and gives purpose to my life. If there is anyone that doesn’t know Jesus as their Savior, I would encourage them to seek Him AND a relationship with Him.
