Tell us your story. What life experiences have impacted your journey? What motivates you? What is your “why"?

My life story is that I started playing baseball at 10 years old. I really loved the game, but I never understood the competition of the game until middle school, that's when I really stay taking the game seriously. I pitched in a tournament championship when I was 14, and I remember throwing a complete game and striking out 10 in a winter game in late October. That was when I really embraced my goals and thought they were all realistic. I joined a few clubs throughout high school, the one I was on the longest throughout junior and senior year were really special, the team was called mhbb, and the team was great, we had so many great times together and went to many states. That team really helped me in my development. My development also came from my parents putting in hard work to help my get places and also help me train. In August 2025, I received my first offer, and I was super excited about it, it came shortly after I posted a pitching highlight video on x with 60 thousand views. Many other offers came, ranging from juco, d3, d2, and NAIA. I ultimately chose Ottawa because they made me feel like home and I felt it was the best for to me. I greatly appreciate the other coaches from other great programs taking time to talk to me and I was always grateful for their offers.

What role does your faith play in your life and in your sports career?

Faith plays a major role in my life. I always attended church from day 1. That has always been a huge part, praying before games, and just praying in general with everyday things.

Do you have a favorite Bible verse? If so, which one and why?

Corinthians 9:24. This is my favorite Bible verse because it's about discipline and giving your best. The verse is so motivating.

What accomplishment are you most proud of personally and athletically (name one of each)?

Personally, I am most proud of going to texas and winning a tournament with my club team while being named player of the game in the semi final with 7 strikeouts as the starting pitcher. Athletically, I am most proud of developing my speed. I recently ran a 3.90 home to first time. That was huge for me because I really feel like I can use my speed to be a better baseball player alla around, like using the explosiveness to throw harder.

What do you feel sets you apart from your competition and what skills do you currently possess that are your biggest assets?

I think my biggest assets are my arm and speed. I've been blessed to have a strong arm that has never had a injury. I think my velocity will grow as I continue to get the physics of it, but in terms of raw arm strength I'm very blessed. With my speed I built, I was on and off with my speed in Early highschool, but as I got into my junior year, my speed really came together. I used the tools I was given and enhanced them with stuff like RDLs and goblet squats and hamstring stretching in the weight room.

What skills are you most focused on improving?

The skills I'm most focused on building are more efficient swing mechanics as well as efficient kinametic mechanics from the mound, and generating force from the ground up.

Tell us what a typical day or week is like for you:

A typical day is normally weightlifting 3 days a week at least, I try and hit as much as I can, so some weeks I do, some weeks I don't, but I always work on throwing, I throw a baseball every week for sure even in the off season to keep my arm in shape. I enjoy throwing a football as I find it losens my wrists and makes the baseball spin off my hand better during games and practice. I try and eat very healthy, I make sure to get food sleep and I always make sure I pray. Praying is definitely a must for me.

What are your plans for the future and what is your number one objective for the next year / season?

My plans for the future are to have a standout season on my varsity 5A team and finish strong in the classroom with my final semester of highschool. After June, my goal is to have a successful club ball season and have lots of fun with that team as I leave Colorado and enter kansas in August. From there I just hope to be a great teammate and do everything I can at Ottawa University as a incoming freshman.

What is the biggest challenge you see in achieving your upcoming goal or where could you use help?

I think the biggest challenge to me is just the inflation of great young athletes. So many young athletes do all of the things right that they can control, which I do to, but its definitely harder to stand out in certain situations. To that point, in college I will be a freshman and 2-4 years younger than the majority of the program, so that will take work and discipline to limit that gap.

What words of advice do you have for younger athletes that are up and coming?

My advice to younger athletes is that you have to be willing to work hard and not be afraid of hard work. You should want to be the hardest worker , which means taking care of your body and working on the little things.

Who was your favorite player growing up or who's style of play do you most admire?

My favorite player growing up was and still is Josh Allen. Even though I never played football, I really admired how physical he was. He made the game interesting and increased tension which few athletes do, I really found the competitiveness fun to watch.

What one question would you have for your favorite athlete if they were sitting here now?

My question to Josh Allen would be why did he not give up after highschool when no one would offer him? It's very impressive to me and I think that's very admirable
